The taps it kept my mind off that I was really in the machine

Hi Dr. Caroline,
This female last night at the Imaging waiting area was just exclaiming on her lungs that no Xanax works, this time the Lorazepam she took didn’t work on her at all that she will be telling her doctor, she had to be in the machine in and out 3 times, and had a towel on her eyes. I felt for her because I wondered if she only knew about the mental taps it might of worked for her.

I had no problems at all for the three different imaging: the headphones went on, the cage went over my head & face, I got in the machine in one time, I started the mental taps, the imaging started, out of the machine for the contrast and back in no issues, I didn’t need to squeeze the ball at all, and had no towel over my eyes. The technicians and staffs all told me for the three different imaging:  I’m doing good and done a great job.
Before I didn’t know about the taps, my anxieties were so high with the Alprazolam – their were times – I did asked the moment after they putted the cage on me to get it off me, get me out of the machine and couldn’t do it and other times while I was in the machine I felt the anxiousness the whole time. The Alprazolam only worked after when I was done out of the machine.

The taps it kept my mind off that I was really in the machine, lowered my anxieties to practically none, gave me a sense of stable peace, it worked an instance at the very moment, and last night I felt as if I took a brief nap in there. Thank you so much for giving me the confident and overcoming my fears.
